    Overview

They say only 10 to 15 percent of the population is left handed. Among golfers, it is even a smaller percentage. Among female golfers, that number is reduced even more. So where are left-handed women supposed to find golf clubs that fit them? If you are a woman golfer who plays from the left side of the ball, there are three very important things to remember when shopping for new clubs.

    Right Handed World

While golf is a right handed world, it is vitally important to remember that almost all manufacturers make left handed clubs. Beyond that, almost all manufacturers make left handed women's clubs. So while it possible that you may not find a demonstration set to try at your local golf shop, you can order just about any club you can imagine in your size and left handed if you want to.

    Price

It is easy to think that just because they are making clubs specific for you and your size and your swing, these clubs will cost you more than the oh so common right handed clubs. In truth, most club makers these days are promoting their custom fitting services which means only that they are making customized clubs for every golfer who buys from them. This makes buying left handed clubs even that much more simple. Your clubs are already custom made, why should they cost more from the other side of the ball? Answer: they shouldn't. Don't let them.

    Internet

The Internet is a great source for left handed golf clubs, particularly for women. With its reach and ease of communications, the Internet offers many, many resources for golf equipment including pre-owned sites like Callaway and Cobra not to mention used sales online classified ad sites like Craigslist.
