What President Was an Avid Golfer?

Many U.S. presidents were avid golfers, but few topped Dwight D. Eisenhower's enthusiasm for the game. Eisenhower, who was president from 1953 to 1961, played more than 800 rounds during his eight years in the White House, according to Links golf magazine. On average Eisenhower played more than 100 rounds a year -- about twice a week.
